Make it Halal - Pamanganan: House of Malaysian Halal Foods

After Mr. Rence Chan's Quiapo tour, obviously the participants were a little bit tired and hungry. Fortunately, we saw this place in the busy streets of Quiapo.  Located on the ground floor of Shaima 2 Hotel in Quiapo, Manila is Pamanganan - House of Malaysian Halal Foods.

Ok...so what does 'pamanganan" means? It means a place to eat in Yakan dialect.

At first, I just thought that the place only serves halal pizza... halal...FYI: Halal means "permissible." In terms of food, it means food that is permissible according to Islamic law. Anyway, so going back... I thought it only serve halal pizza, since it was the first signboard that I saw near the entrance.
Ok...
So other than halal pizza, they also focus on Malaysian inspired menu with a touch of Arabic and Islamic influence. Now at least I got a taste of Malaysian cuisine in Quiapo.  Anyway, the place is quite comfortable, it got a good air conditioned system and a glass door that filters the busy Quiapo street noise.

The restaurant has a 90 seat fine-dining capacity and they also serve take out.

I didn't get to taste all the food, but i'll just tell you what me and my friends have ordered.

Nasi Goreng... a fancy name for "fried rice." It is typically a stir fried rice with other stuff like eggs, bits of chicken. They serve this with fried egg and a slice of cucumber with catsup. Can be considered a full,  complete meal and will cost you P95.00.

The serving can be shared by 2 persons.
